The Role

What You'll be doing

This is a full-time, home-office-based role joining our fast-growing team working in Latin America, with core hours aligned to Eastern time.

As the IT Product & Project Lead, you will play a key role throughout the entire lifecycle of a custom software project, starting from inception. You will lead the Discovery Phase (first 3 months), focusing on defining the product vision, understanding user needs, shaping the MVP, and aligning stakeholders.

After the Discovery Phase, your role will transition into Project Lead, ensuring execution aligns with the defined roadmap and timelines. You will work closely with technical and design teams to drive delivery.

You will collaborate with a global, cross-functional team, including the Lead Developer and UI/UX Designer, using Agile methodologies. This is a hands-on, client-facing role combining strategic thinking with structured execution.

Responsibilities:

Product Discovery & Vision

  • Lead discovery sessions and workshops to deeply understand business needs, pain points, and product opportunities.
  • Define product vision, strategy, and clear roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams (tech, design, business).
  • Continuously translate user insights and data into actionable product requirements and prioritization.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Structure, plan, and execute project timelines, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Manage product backlogs, sprints, and cross-team coordination, applying Agile or similar methodologies.
  • Optimize resource allocation and mitigate risks across multiple workstreams.

Stakeholder Alignment & Communication

  • Serve as primary point of contact between technical and non-technical teams, aligning diverse stakeholders on vision, scope, and outcomes.
  • Present and articulate product architecture, technical decisions, and project milestones to clients and executives.

Execution & Continuous Improvement

  • Track, analyze, and report on KPIs for product usage, business value, and process effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of feedback and learning, spearheading process improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Document all phases of product and project delivery, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practice retention.

Your skills

What We require

  • Combined experience in both software Project Management and Product Management roles, successfully delivering digital projects end-to-end and driving business growth through product innovation.
  • Deep expertise with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on use of collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence for tracking, backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting.
  • Strong history of facilitating stand-ups, grooming sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, consistently aiming to improve Agile maturity across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and prioritize client and user requirements, maintain detailed product backlogs, and align execution with both business objectives and technical delivery.
  • Proven communication and facilitation skills, enabling clear information transfer between distributed teams, stakeholders, and clients; capable of running workshops, presenting roadmaps, and managing expectations.
  • Experience in monitoring and reporting team/project metrics (velocity, burndown charts, financial status, CSAT/NPS), ensuring timely, high-quality, and on-budget delivery.
  • Effective at resolving conflicts, removing delivery obstacles, and maintaining focus on objectives, while supporting team members and promoting an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Leadership in managing multiple concurrent projects and products in a fast-paced, distributed, multicultural environment.

Will be a plus

  • Background or certifications in Agile Project Management.
  • Experience with cloud-based technology, modern product analytics tools, and UX research.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation projects or consulting environments.
  • Multicultural team experience and ability to thrive in distributed/remote settings.
  • Colleagues who believe in data-driven improvement, authentic collaboration, and an inclusive culture to be part of a global workforce.
