The Role

What you'll be doing

SweatWorks is hiring a Product Owner who is passionate about building hardware and software products which clients and users will love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to deliver leading edge products for our high profile clients in the fitness industry.

This is a full-time, remote position with the ability to work anywhere in the US (during EST hours).  Some domestic and international travel may be needed depending on specific project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for SweatWorks clients: Manage communication with clients to ensure their vision and requirements are captured accurately.
  • Capture and Translate Client Vision: Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business objectives and translate them into a clear product vision, roadmap, and detailed requirements.
  • Gather and Document Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine detailed requirements and specifications that align with the overall product goals.
  • Define and Prioritize Features: Prioritize the product feature backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features are developed first. Define user stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide the development process.
  • Create and Maintain Product Roadmaps: Develop and maintain product roadmaps that reflect the prioritized features and align with client expectations and project timelines.
  • Maintain and Prioritize the Backlog: Continuously update and prioritize the product backlog based on stakeholder feedback, project progress, and changing requirements.
  • Communicate with the Development Team: Communicate the product goals, objectives, and priorities to the development team to ensure alignment and successful execution.

Your skills

What we require

  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English
  • 5+ years experience in hardware and software product management and a track record of growing the business through a combination of product innovation, extension, and market-specific localization
  • A track record of creating seamless customer journeys using design thinking and agile, iterative product development processes
  • Ability to think strategically, learn quickly, prioritize effectively, and succeed in fast-paced and uncertain environments while acting autonomously
  • Strong analytical and problems-solving skills, matched with the ability to tell a story with the data
  • Project management skills to define scope, communicate with stakeholders, manage risk and execute
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and are influential at all levels of Customer Engagement
