The Role

What you'll be doing

SweatWorks is hiring a iOS Developer fluent in written and spoken English and with full-time availability. As a Mobile Developer, you will be part of a remote creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development, from the initial specification through to developing, testing, and launching.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
• Automate the compilation, continuous integration, testing, packaging, and distribution of multiple software components
• Assist developers with build issues, resolving compilation errors, unit test failures, and similar issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Encourage and enforce best practices to enable rapid new feature development while maintaining multiple functioning software products -Install, configure, and extend a variety of software systems, including version control systems, code peer review, compilation, continuous integration, performance data collection and analysis, systems monitoring, and more

Your skills

What we require

• Proven working experience of 5+ years in software development
• Proven working experience of 3+ years in iOS development
• Proven working experience with watchOS
• Have published two or more apps in the Apple App Store
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid experience with Objective-C, and Swift.
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Health Kit, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text

Will be a plus

• Experience managing and building Linux based distributions and packaging.
• Experience with multiple build tools such as Make and Cmake, Gradle, Maven, or Bazel.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
• Excel in a fast-paced, agile environment supporting multiple projects using a wide variety of technologies.
• BS, MS preferred, in Computer Science or related field is preferred, but considerable weight will be given to experience and prior accomplishment
